We had an early start to the day with Taylor considerately waking us all up an hour earlier than sunrise to make sure we didn't miss it. We've had breakfast and are all ready for the hike by 8 a.m. Over breakfast I asked Taylor if she went to her Auntie Jodie's this summer and Emily responded "No! Because this is what she does! She wakes up at 5 and I can't take it!." I have a feeling this is going to be an exciting or at least entertaining week.
Agenda for today:
Leave Ottawa for Lusk Cave - hike 5 km to the cave, and 5 km back. Have a swim in the Gatineau Park. Drive to The Great Canadian Bungee for ziplining. Drive back to Ottawa, get changed and shower and then head to Busker Fest to walk the streets and see the performers! Wish us luck!
